Creative Direction for Creative Riff
For this project I led the team at Creative Riff to create three riffs on a theme: a show-inspired spa experience for some of Disney Branded Television’s shows. Three cities, three shows, three spa takeovers. Across the board we created show-themed afternoons for groups of lucky kids that got to step into the shoes of their favorite TV characters and get all made up. Each experience included custom glam stations for hair and makeup, manicures themed to each show, fun treats and drinks, and an activity station specifically geared to each property. And of course, a photo op to strut their stuff.
It was truly gratifying to see the kids light up as they discovered these special spas, and really enjoy the attention and the fun of getting all made up together!

To feature the show Electric Bloom, about a flower power girl band, we headed to Nashville, Tennessee to create our floral spa.
Taking advantage of the bright, sunny venue, we installed dichroic film on the windows to create a psychedelic room, filled with flowers. We had custom flower-shaped cotton candy, floral-inspired manicures, glittering hair additions, and a friendship-bracelet station.

For Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, we made a magical wizards lair in a storefront spa.
Defining the space with a street-fronting wall of stained glass-inspired translucent windows, we created a custom branded spa experience. Including a potions station to make custom perfumes, drink concotions that changed color, and our magical glow up and nail stations, this spa got guests ready to go out into the world with the confidence of magical powers.

DALLAS: VAMPIRINA TEENAGE VAMPIRE 〰️
For the new show Vampirina Teenage Vampire we made a cute spa that was just a little spooky.
Leaning into the theme we added bats, neon and flickering lighting to the space. Guests enjoyed bat-themed treats, made their own custom lip gloss, and got their vampire glow ups in Vampirina’s green room.
